Our Story

We are COCOC, the first food truck in the Monterey Bay Area to offer Truly Authentic Mexican Guisados (Meat or Veggies cooked in different homemade sauces). We are determined to transport all the rich culture and flavors from Mexico to California. The Cococ concept stems from Juanjo and David’s (founders and brothers) upbringing in a traditional Michoacan household where cooking and eating symbolized a family reunion and an opportunity to bond. As a  family business, we plan to bring a sense of home to every customer through every dish.

Juanjo and David will be Operations Supervisors on-site. Juanjo has over 15 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality business while David is a professional chef from Colegio Culinario de Morelia (Mexico) with more than 10 of experience in Mexican cuisine and international gastronomy. Together, they amount to almost 30 years of experience in bringing high-quality food and exceptional service to the table.

Our 16ft trailer allows us to accommodate various menu options as well as customized dishes for your private events and social gatherings. We pride ourselves in doing what we love and loving what we do. The Cococ family thanks you for the opportunity to serve you!
